Merimies muistelee is a collection of central lyrical texts with a thematic context. The poems are often about traveling away and returning home, where a journey takes on a symbolic meaning. Belonging to one’s own culture and home region has a great thematic significance.
The new edition consists of a book of poems / photos and a CD. The book is 66 pages and contains text in Norwegian and English in addition to Kven language, and is adorned with exciting photographs by Oddleiv Apneseth.
